C10 neutrino dream

This is made from the diffs for commando 10d.
I havn't tested it for cable as my 500c is dead but works fine on my sat box.

It doesn't have the commando shellexec files as it won't play ball.
There are some scripts in the scripts area to backup/restore bouquet/service files to var, make a root.tar to edit the squashfs and one to make a var.tar from the jffs area and one to show available space.

I have called it c10 dream in recognition that the diffs came from the latest Commando 10D release for the dbox2

put it on my son's dreambox last night and wow really smooth and just like com10 from dbox2

wonderful image all round

recomend this to all dreambox using thats used to dboxes too

It isn't set to scan for sat yet, I will be sorting it in the next day or 2, the 500s doesn't like the cable modified zapit so just going to give the option to use the original untouched zapit or the cable zapit.

Thanks to some pointers from paphosal I have the shellec working now so it has cryo's bit's and parts of the commando menu (removed the hdd and ucodes section as not relevant for the 500s), also redirected the setmylocations to /bin/smls as the setmylocations that is compiled in uses this also.

I have my sisters cable box till tomorrow and can say that the image I posted here won't scan as it has the german cables.xml .

I only use my 500s for freesat so if there are any other files you would like it to run I will need to know the executable name

I'm still playing with being able to swap the <> with the volumme-up volume-down but make it configuable asc I hate them the wrong way round, then It will be another dw image but will of course share any info/data that I find.

They are watching the v+ box at the moment but hopefully will get a chance to get another image ready for tomorrow, having the shellexec up and running means I can do a quick fix without recompiiling to swap cable zapit and sat zapit as I have an unmodified zapit here as I always do a clean compile before I change anything.

Must say m8 it looks the mutts nuts,as title says its like C10 on a dreambox,

As stated above it wont scan because of german cables.xml,
Also cannot get it to clear even the FTA channels,now that could be just me but the dw beta works fine on this box.
Wonder if gav got it running on cable or sat?

Was aware there maybe problems as your dm500c is dead so you could not test on cable,but when all said and done its a great looking image m8 and much appreciated.

It's not negative to say something doesn't work m8, it's constructive especially if I can't test.

I have an image here where the emu's clear (for test purposes only), I had missed out the link to keys called scce. The shellexec now works and zapit is swappable from fast scan cable to bog standard sat.

Don't know if the 7day epg works or not as it makes my sisters box lag really badly so I deleted the epgfilter.xml and rebooted, still get a days epg which is enough.

I need to remove a few things before it can be posted so need access to the tv but it will be done today as my sister wants her 500c back tonight.

Gav's unit is almost certainly a DM500C, as I can't see a sat dish on his house.

I Have tried the image and overall its good the epg doesnt load on all channels and left with black spaces all over the bouquets I am also having problems getting sub channels to clear even though Ive added the files needed, my dreambox files didnt even show in the softcam menu until I transferd them from my dbox but still not clearing is the permision 755 or 644 may e you might ,I have reverted back to my openmedia image for the moment which is very stable and not far away from c10 appart from the extended epg,pic icons,and fast scan, one thing I do like on my image is the signal bar which i replaced by the pic icons on c10 overall well done this is the closest image I have seen to a dbox image on the dreambox with a few tweaks and bug fixes then I will use it no problem. keep up the good work we need more images like this instead of the enigma images which are a pain
