Update on the previous c10 dream image

Cable scan works now.

shellexec works, it has cryos'menu's, the commando set my locations and commando 7 day epg (made my sisters box unresponsive), removed the ucodes and hdd sections from the commando menu as not relevant to the dm500 box and a menu to switch from cable fast scan to sat scanning.

The scanning is set to cable by default.
There is also a setmylocations area in the service menu.

No roms, keys or emu's this image is released as fta only.

Have this running for a couple of hours now and its great, set my location works perfect and picks up all channels,

Only two things to point out:

When finished a scan it doesnt clear the channels and a reboot is neccesary,

And if you press ok for channellist and then scroll to a different bouquet ,but dont change channel and then exit, it stays on the bouquet you were browsing when you press ok again instead of the one you are actually in.

Thanks for sharing m8.

Can't help on the first one, but the Bouquets behaviour you've described is the same in C10d, so must be inherent in the current CVS Neutrino design.

Enigma keeps to the current bucket, though, so maybe neutrino could be tweaked to do the same?

or as you say maybe a cvs issue going back till before xmas at least.

I didn't say it was a CVS 'issue', wiz- I said CVS design; you know what ze Germans are like.

Just for fun, I'm now reflashing with a Jan 08 CF 1.3 image, to see if neutrino still had the same Bouquets behaviour over a year ago. Wow! Weren't we all busy back then? CableFerret, Lebelo, Pacino, Commando 9, Xenafan and Lincsat all active on the Neutrino front...

Anyway, the answer: CF does the same thing, so it's neutrino design and not an accident, LOL!

Cheers- AL

Or maybe Scruff can get neutrino to replicate enigma behaviour in the Bouquets department, ie: always revert to current bouquet, rather than the last one you browsed to?

Cheers- AL
