Dreambox serivce files

when I do a scan I loose sly box off I have to convert my dbox service file so I can get it,now here is the question ! can I and is it possible to use a myservice.xml on the dreambox running neutrino I have used this before on dbox but I can seem to get it to work ,am I putting it in the wrong place with the ubouquets.xml and service.xml file hope you can clarify this for me cheers all.

Only theorizing, as I'm not in the Dreambox club (too poor, can't afford one...)

But when you say you're 'losing' SBO- it isn't actually called Sky Box Office on the VM platform. See if your scanned services contain a channel named 'Live Events' and/or 'PPV Events' - as this will be the SBO service.

you mean, you want to use a myservices file to ADD the SBO Live Events Channel?

The answer is yes, however it won't be showing anything/might not even be OJN when there's nothing waiting to be broadcast. i use a myservices.xml file to remove all the guff i don't want on my dm500, currently running Dream Worlds Neutrino v2. Although, i found it acts a little weird when getting it to apply. On my Dbox, i could just reload channel lists and this would work - however, it DOESNT on my current dm image.

here's what i did to get it all working : scan for services, upload into Bouquet Wizard, sort out how you want it (Bouquets/Myservices created) , export BACK to the dm and then RESCAN for channels. only at this point did the myservices.xml seem to kick in.
