Default Satellites.xml????

Hi guys.

My dm500s is up and running nicely on Gemini 4.7 non bomb. My only problem with it is that the time is an hr out which is really annoying. The time correction option doesn't sort it either.
Now on to my question. I've installed EDG Nemesis 4.4. I used my services backed up from gemini, all work except for the channels on thor 1w. All I get is a message "service could not be found!". Im assuming this is due to there not being the correct satellites.xml. I got a back up from gemini and off the web but cannot find it anywhere in the image. Am I missing something or just being stupid?

Any ideas would be appreciated

Have a look in /share/tuxbox

This is in squash so you can't write to it directly

You can add a satellites.xml into var area, but I don't think it will fully list what is in that one if the one in squash doesn't have it included.

Have a look in /share/tuxbox first, and reply if you can see one, if you can, then ftp a copy out and post it here. I have had similar issues before.

Thanks ss. I'm at work at mo but I'll do it when I get home. I foun a symlink for satellites.XML but couldn't find the file itself. The image doesn't have a downloadable sat.xml either. Have you got any suggestions of other images I could try? Tried pli jade, that worked fine but didn't get on with the double ok press to get bouquet list. All other images seem to have the same problem

cheers for the help

Don't we place our tiny UK satellites.xml in /var/etc/ for gay enigma to pick up, SS? And once it's in there- go into Setup >> Satellites config menu to activate it?

As for the time difference, Phil- I think you need to have a closer look at System Settings >> Time to add an hour, or deduct one, m8. Again, there's a string you can add to /var/etc/profile that should be able to correct this, I think.

Cheers- AL

Yes we do, but not that simple, with some images in the past the local satellites.xml in var/etc doesnt properly show all sats.

I had this issue before, hence why I want phils xml so I can retrace the issue I had before.

Heres my satellites.xml. This was taken straight from the gemini image.

@al. I tried the time correction settings but that sends the time further out. If all else fails I'll try your var/etc/profile suggestion.

Cheers

Edit: I must be blind it was just where you said SS. I've also posted the xml from nemesis which isnt working properly

How did you put your services in? Direct FTP or did you use a bouqet editor?

Can you post your services so I can replicate here?

I use dreamset to put the services in m8. Seemed easier than DCC or flashfxp. Once again, I'm stuck at work till about 7. I'll post my services when I get home.

Cheers

Here we go. I wasn't sure if you wanted just the services or more so I've attached the whole enigma folder from gemini.

Cheers
