DM7000 Commando Image - Page 4

Cheers mate.

I have had a look at a forum thread from 2007 (i-have -a-dreambox; Neutrino on Dream).
Looks like they were sorting out a problem with the init of the /var directory on first flash to box.

A lot has changed in the CVS since 2007, and with the build process itself, so I'm not sure if any of that stuff is still relevant. - my German is non-existent!

At this point I don't think there's a lot more I can do without access to a dm700 box.

There are other guys on here with more insight than I have but I'm happy to pick this up again if any new info comes to light.

Thanks for all the effort you guys put into that topic, hope we can sort it out later on for example with HanBee and bring up a running Commando image for the DM7000, i will be around here all the time to take a look, and glad if i can help out with something.....

Thanks, Protexx. Be patient, as Commando 14.4 should be released before the end of this month, after beta testing is completed, and all the devs are back from holidays to bang heads.

We'll try and find room in squashfs root to make it tri-lingual, maybe. English, German and Dutch. But the main advance in this version will be EPG related. Sorry that this will be UK orientated in terms of the new addition. But the existing Rytec-based stuff (although pushing the dm500 to it's limits in terms of resources) is at least adaptable for our German and Dutch cousins.

Hi all,
first of all thanks for the 14.4 version of the Commando Image, perfect work.

Has one of the devs here had time to take a look on a new cvs DM7000 image ? I am still stuck on the old ruDream Image from 2007, looking forward to get something newer

As i can see out of my PM box, HanBee hasn´t logged in from the 24.08 this year.......too bad

Hope to hear from you guys out there
