Commando 14.4 EPG

Commando 14.4 EPG. Only displays now and next. I have tried all three EPGs. I want to use Freeview EPG. I have selected the Freeview option (Blue Button).

When I looke in the settings/Extra Settings and view the EPG config they can not be edited. Is this the reason I only get Now @ Next EPG.

Please excuse my English. I am Dutch.

Are you on 28.2E or another satellite? As FreeSat EPG 'should' populate and seed all the non-filtered Freesat channels on 28.2E within the first 10-15 minutes or so of watching one of them...

If you straight away tune to an encrypted channel (Sports, Movies, etc) whilst in FreeSat EPG mode, then yes, you'll only have N+n EPG for the whole session, sorry.

You have to remember that C14.4 is primarily a UK focused image, and that is what the new EPG setup is coded for. We make no claims for covering the whole of Europe for all their EPG as well.

It's true that EPG Settings have been made 'READ ONLY' for FreeSat / Rytec EPG Modes. This is stop users from breaking their box, by trying 3 or 4 day EPG in these modes. Default and working for them is 2 Days only. Radio Times EPG is a different ballgame altogether- (see readme)- but again, this is for 28.2E only. If you're on a different satellite, tell us, and we'll look at at the problem. But EPG in C14.4 is UK orientated!!

Thanks. I finaly understant about the EPGs.

I am using the excellent Rytec online EPG. I have enabeld the Load Online RYTEC EPG at Starup UP.

If you are happy with Rytec online EPG for 28.2E UK sources, good! Try it for a few days, then have a shot at Radio Times online EPG for UK. It will blow your mind away by comparison, gal...
