Record & Stream DM500s?

Is there an easy way to record from the DM500s? I'm also interested in streaming aswell, is there an easy way to do that?

For streaming you can use the web interface once you have vlc installed,
just click on the vpid up near the top and then chose to open with vlc and it should play,

For recording you would need to setup a mount to a shared folder on your pc

The easiest way to record from the 500 boxes is to buy a dvd recorder, and streaming is ok when you have a good network setup although it does stream ok on average setup but recording is a dvd recorder required. As you are recording and someone users are using the network it can cause stutters or breaks in the recording. ( dvd recorder eliminates this )
