Clones!

I ordered from dvbmonkey, £49 plus about £12.99 shipping. They was delivered by DHL, I have read that some peeps get a letter from DHL some time afterwards asking for tax, will have to see if I get this.

The delivery note does state though "Sample of TV Satellite Signal, Receiver" with a value of 20.00 USD (I ordered 2 though). And yes, they come from Hong Kong.

I am impressed with them though, work real well and drive my stab motor with a 1M dish no probs.

Yep seen that thread PT m8, but I aint posting there as normally I just get ignored must be sumat I'm doing wrong in my build, so I'll try another

but if you do happen to come across anything nice to do with a fix or a neutrino 500 diff I'd be interested cheers

Well i`ve used a few clones in the past, but the last 6/7 months i have`nt messed about with much, but when i did a lot of the time i found the clones worked out and performed better than some originals
I suppose its like all the talk that went about on the forum about the Starviews and the likes, and the clone 500c, i alsways said that all they were doing when they said they would not support the clones, was that the new ones were the same main boards and such but in a different case.
Will have to see if my mate here in the uk is still geting them shipped in and get some prices for members here.

Hi yea wully m8, just got one off me mate as he only had one in and it cost me £55 as he owed me a few favours
He said he is going to try get in the D600 ones soon and if he does they will be cheap aswell, i`ll let you know.
He said there was some of the 500`s down south that he had not taken up so if they are still there and not sold that he would bring them up for me to get rid of.

Now i got to try sort this 500s out and what image to throw on and such.

hi i am think of getting a dream box 500c i have seen the clones 1 which are talking about they look but i have been told my a m8 that they will died on me in around 6 mouths, i would like to know how long you have had them off and if u have had any probelms with them

also where is the best place to buy originals 1

Why ask here if your "m8" is aware of a special 6 month time bomb?

Buy an origional if it bothers you (if you can find one, they stopped making them ages ago unless you want a 500+ with oe) your other posts and comments in the SB are not worthwhile either.
