What sort do you have, good or a pile of junk? Please post your findings.

DM500c Peng clone better then the original one I used to have,far better tuner too.

Anyone got either an "Envision" or a "Eagle" 500 clone? I need to setup a family member with a satellite system, their budget won't stretch to a genuine 600. Would rather source a box from UK for warrentry. Or any other suggestions?

Yes m8, It was. I admit I am being a little two faced here buying a clone, (I have in the past sweared by gen boxes with the support as I have a gen 7025) but it is for a family member who can't stretch to the cost of a genuine 600 (and it appears dm have dropped gen 500's anyway?).

But being a bit more 2 faced, I ordered 2 boxes so I should have one for myself for dev work.

Please don't now tell me that supplier supplies crap or can't be trusted??

I ordered 2no DM500c from DVBSeller, was ordering for a friend & decided to get myself one lol. Ordered yesterday, will let you know when they arrive & let you know the quality.

Cheers sic, I looked at DVBSeller but went for the other supplier, it will be interesting to swap our findings on here, I ordered 2 DM500s the day before you, lets see what happens.

Got an email this morning from DVBSeller this morning stating that my order has been shipped with a tracking number, not sure where to track it yet though, so sent them an email asking to confirm courier & link to where it can be tracked.

Anyway, seems its on its way
