to do a quick scan (this may not pickup all your channels ,, it did for me)

select menu

select service searching

select manual Transponder scan

note the 00571 this is the first 3 digits of the Freq for your area

also change the symbol rate to your own as well

tick the inv

and tick the network search

now start your scan

Good tip renwich,

Have always done my scans that way m8 it works a treat here in Dublin but then we only have 13 transponders.

This won't work with just any frequency, it needs to be the default frequency in your area.

To find the default frequency, look at your 'All Services' list for a channel called 'FLASH' or 'DTV SERVICE'. These are the firmware for subscribed cable boxes and these are on the default frequency.

Select the channel then go to Menu > Information > Stream Info > Right > Right.
