Marmorini joins Ferrari as head of engine department
Ferrari have announced that Luca Marmorini has joined the team as head of the engine and electronics department. Marmorini worked for Italian outfit earlier in his career during the 1990s. The 48 year-old has spent the last 10 seasons working for Toyota Motorsport. The Italian will replace Gilles Simon, who has been head of Ferrari's engine department since 2006.
