Friday practice - selected team and driver quotes
After weeks of waiting, the drivers finally got their first taste of Abu Dhabi's brand-new Yas Marina Circuit on Friday. Whilst McLaren dominated the timesheets, with Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen topping a session apiece, there was frustration for BMW Sauber at their last race as Robert Kubica's running ended prematurely and joy for Toyota, whose rookie driver Kamui Kobayashi finished fifth fastest.
