Default Change at Red Bull........

Lots of rumors floating around about Red Bull

As you know, they run Renault engines.....

Well rumor is, a bit of a name change, with the name "Infiniti" in it some how.

If you don't know, Infiniti is the brand Nissan have started using for higher end cars, very similar to how Toyota use the "Lexus" brand.

Well, there is already some tie ups between Renault and Nissan as it is (I read Renault owns 44% of Nissan, and Nissan owns 15% of Renault)!!.

Nissan have been pushing the Infiniti brand in the USA for a while, maybe they now want to push the brand across Europe now?

So, if the rumor is correct, there may be a bit of engine "rebranding" going on at Red Bull, due to the Nissan/Renault tie up, it probably won't make much difference to the actual RB engine. As I read things, a Renault badged engine used in Formula Renault 3.5 is actually a Nissan VQ35.

So the rumor is, a RB name may change as Nissan want to push the Infiniti brand!??
