Default Will the case of the Portsmouth Landlady affect F1?

Credit below to quotes from the PlanetF1 website:-

As for concerns that fans would buy foreign packages instead of Sky Sports, who have the rights to F1 from next season, and listen to English commentary on the BBC's 5Live, the F1 supremo [Ecclestone] doubts that viewers will be keen on the idea.

"That's if 5Live still have the rights. We could stop that," he said.

"Ultimately I think people want something they can see and listen to live with the commentary in sync. As for pubs, maybe what will happen is we'll give it to pubs for free in the future if that's what's needed."

Well I am keen on the idea of using 5live for audio, interesting that he threatens to "stop that"

Yes Bernie, people would "want something they can see and listen to live with the commentary in sync" so why take that away from the BBC who would pay something, and you offer it to pubs for free??

Confused
