Default Rubens Barrichello

As the F1 season draws near to the last race of 2011, I wonder if Rubens will manage to crack 20 years in F1.

His contract runs out with Williams at the end of this season with doubts of a renewal as Williams are set to sign up Kimi Raikkonen for 2012.

So what seats are available?

This is how I see the current setup, but could have errors in it..........

Williams 2 seats available (but probably Raikkonen taking one).

Force India 2 seats available (but convinced current drivers will be retained).

Toro Rosso 2 seats available.

Caterham 1 seat available.

HRT 1 seat available (they just signed up Pedro de la Rosa).

Virgin 1 seat available.

As Rubens is known as the most experienced F1 driver, do you think one of the "back markers" like Virgin may give him a seat ?

If Rubens is sensible, SS, after all the megga wonga he's made over the past 20 years, he'll just retire gracefully and maybe take a tester job for one of the teams?

Bit like me, LOL!

It was mentioned during Quali yesterday that the deal for Kimi Reikkennen to drive for Williams next year has fallen through. So maybe Chello's seat is safe after all?

But if he really IS retiring, then at least he can walk away proud that in finishing 14th today in front of his home crowd, he beat MSC who only managed 15th. Maybe MSC will decide to call it a day, too?
