Who's Downloaded

from past experiance we know what its like to get feedback on images to match. there is always more downloads than feedback posts.

so we added a feadback section to all our image download sections .
and have decided to keep the developers creating and try to control feedback.

we have installed a who has downloaded hack so now we can name and shame people who have downloaded and not bothered to give somthing back to the dev in the form of feedback.

so if your name is on the download list of an image and you dont leave some sort of feedback within 48hrs we will remove your download privlages.

Would also like to see it a part of such downloads NJ as to say making the people who do download it to have to press a say THANK YOU button.

ive tryed ive got the hide tag installed but it isnt doing anything for actual attatchments.

Its just as you know you`ll get people just leeching the file and saying bugger all, and if we are all been honest, its always nice to see a thank you.
Just implement it into the hidden tag boyo and so as soon as they hit the tahnks, walla lamb chops apear....... i mean link

when i click on whos downloaded button a box comes up with
the smilies list,maybe a bug for me somewhere ????

I think 48 hours to respond with feedback is a bit tight for many peeps who work long hours, maybe 7 days a week.

Remember that most peeps just have the one dbox in the house- and they're last in the pecking order when it comes to messing with the box- the missus and kids having first priority!

So two weeks would be a more realistic timescale in which to expect constructive feedback, I reckon...

Agreed- everyone who downloads should at least have the courtesy to press the Thanks button!! The image modders/creators devote a lot of time for free in their work- and the mere fact they are willing to share their work with the wider community is worth a simple 'Thanks'!!

yeah overly harsh if you ask me - i don't often get time to mess around with images the minute i download them - i may do nothing for months then flash 2 or 3 a night and give feedback where i feel it's necessary

removing download priviledges after 48hours is a bit fascist if u ask me.

62 people downloaded ss enigma v4 last month but only 8 people bothered to reply with feedback.

does that meen i wouldnt be bieng harsh if i removed 54 users for downloading and not leaving feedback .

thats 54 users using internet download features that cant even be bothered to contrubute to the forum.

48hrs is a bit harsh and thats why it hasnt been actioned as of yet. but to say people work people havent got time in thier busy life.

they had the time to download it and flash it whats a few minutes more to leave a litlle feedback.

im sure ss put enough of his time and effort into bringing the image out.

been a member of most of the forums about also been a dbox dev for nearly 2 years. i think my worst download to feedback ratio was 246 downloads and 10 posts of feedback.

the system of take take take has to be delt with as it has killed most forums because image builders just stop realising. they get pished off with all the leaching.

so yes it could be seen as bieng a bit harsh but this forum isnt here for people to leach. its a place for everyone to share and get involved.

i dont care for them 54 users who aint bothered to leave feedback. and ukcvs.org will be the first forum of this kind not to tolarate this type leach.

but i thankyou for your opinions and would love to hear some other thoughts on this subject
