what are my chances of gettin a motorised dish with the trees
i have,bear in mind come spring these are gonna be bloomin
the guy next door has a dish which is fixed onto turkish sat and
during the spring/summer months he has probs recievin all the sats
he just gets most of them,but during winter he has no probs,the pixs
are below

Will be easier if you attach the 4 pix as seperate jpg images, m8. Putting them into one rar file achieves nowt, as jpg is already compressed.

If he is at 42e then you have to remember sats like sky uk And 1 west are higher in the sky so you do have a chance.

in pix 4 the tv arial thats when we had sky years back,we had probs during the summer when the trees was at full bloom,have i still a chance if i had a bigger length pole,and spread the t&k brackets apart more

Very difficult to tell from the pictures. Looks to me the best bet would be a pole mount on the other side of the property. I'm guessing access is difficult and that's why the Sky dish is pole mounted on the near side looking over the roof.

As others say, hard to tell by the pictures. Only way to know is with a site survey to see what can be seen.

Feasible Setup position

Some reputable satellite installers can offer a survey as a service, but still worth trying a compass and a home made inclinometer yourself.

I wouldn't use the theory of a bigger dish to pick up a signal through trees though, remember a satellite transponder is around 100W as opposed to a terestial TV transmitter with several hundred thousand watts!

Satellite needs a clear line of sight.

from picre4 it seems like you have got a clear line of site for several satellites, the trees also look very distant to the property.
