I have purchased a technpmate 600 sat box, as i feel it will need to get ready for the bid switch off, so these boxes come with enigma images on them, so i thought i would have a look inside them, just to see if the files and folder are the same as a dream box, I set every thing up as if i was going to FTP into a dream, but i cannot get into the box, is state`s that the username is "user" and password is "blank," but on a site it stated that "passwd" can be used, Well i have try`d a few differant combinations, but to no avail, I am doing it step by step as if i was wanting into a dreambox, firewall off, anti-virus off, network 2 up from my ip address, but i am struggling to get anywhere, Anyway can the Flashftp program be used on a technomate box ir not, i have a coulpe of programs for updating software [ TM LINUX LOADER] but im being told there is no update for the enigma image which comes with this box as the standard image, so has anybody out there used the Flashftp proggy to get into this box !! AS THIS NOOB IS STRUGGLING, Thanks,

Haven't used one yet m8 and not to imply anything but when you use "blank" as the password you don't actually type in blank you just leave it empty,
No offence meant m8 but its an easy mistake

An image that has NO password protection (like C12, V+3, ultraPhat etc) still needs at least one character, any character, to connect via FTP. For a Telnet connection, no password is even asked for.
