ok guys, i have downloaded VLC Media Player to my laptop, opened myweb browser, put in my ip addy and opened thw web-x-tv to watch channels, but i cannot get it to show tv, i can do everything else in the set-up, like send messages to the tv screen, can see folders, turn channels,but cannot watch tv or screen shots, so,what am i missing from this set-up, as i cannot think of anything else it may need !! Cheers ....

is it a dreambox that you are using, if so which image is on it and what model of box

no m8, its a technomate 600 with UR image, i seem to have everything thats required for it to work ... ??

was it the latest vlc version you downloaded? id try an older version. i still have the old vlc 0.8.5 version installed myself, with the activex plugin.

do we know the vlc break version? maybe someones project to rollback versions to find out when this stops working. not sure but i think one of the 0.8.6 versions was the last tested as confirmed compatible versions.
