Default Motor stopped working

Sorry to be such a pain in the arse just lately. I've had my set up working well. Motor moving etc, but its decided to stop working today. I've been up on the roof and the motor will move via the manual buttons and I've done a hardware reset. Only thing is, now i've moved it I can't get back to 28.2 where it'l sit most of the time. I've had a look about and seen that some clone 500s have dodgy power supplies, does this sound like the problem? I've tried a couple images so I can rule that out.
I'm trying to manually position it on 28.2e for now but all it seems to find is ASTRA HD DEMO

In fairness, my clone dm500 has never missed a beat with my motor.

Try a propper reflash, re-setup usals, use the below site for your location..

Thanks guys. The problem isn't the set up of the box. I've tried 3 different images, flashed with dream up through A null modem cable. Up untill Sunday night it was working spot on. So its not a software problem. On saturday it went to all satellites fine.
I had another go at moving it manually after my first post, now the flippin power light has gone out and it won't move at all. Though the motor is receiving 17v through the coax.
By the way I used multimap to get my long lat. Seemed to be spot on.

Double check the coax to make sure there is no breaks or sharp bends that might be stopping the power flow,

try borrow a receiver to check that it is the dm500 thats the problem, otherwise if its the motor send it back m8.

That's pretty much the plan. I've already tried a short known good length of coax, still no power.
Hopefully gettin another box today to try. Fingers crossed it's the power supply n I ain't got to get the dish down.

Cheers

The other bleedin' box didn't turn up so not got chance to test it yet. I got a feeling it'l be the motor too. Does anybody know if a 12 - 18v supply on to the box would I be able to test the manual mode?

If the box is giving out a good 17v supply, then the manual buttons on the motor should work, but if you are reading the 17 volts under NO LOAD, then it might be dropping under motor load if the psu is foobed.

Not easy, but you need to read the voltage when you are pressing a manual move button, psu's can appear healthy under no load, but need loading for a propper test.

As I say, not easy to test, but my money is on the motor pcb m8.

Thats what I was thinking m8. I was thinking of bringing a variable power supply home from work. Just wondered if that would be ok to drive the motor?
