I started off many years ago with a multi sat setup, happy days and lots of good content.

I kept away from the crappy Amstrad boxes but got the videocrypt decoder to get Sly.

Then I got a Pace PRD800, nice box, (wanted a PRD900 but was hens teath at the time). I signed up to everything that Sly had as it was a cracking service at the time.

These was the days when films such as "Silence of the Lambs" was around and Chris Eubank was ruling on the Sly Sports.

Then, one by one, Sly got greedy and the latest movies went pay per view, so I cancelled movies.

Then decent sports went PPV so I cancelled sports.

One by one, I cancelled every package cos they got too greedy.

I am now a bit of an F1 fan, and gob smacked that sly are trying to take this over in recent news. No doubt they will try to charge a fortune for it when currently it is free with cracking coverage from the BBC

I would rather give up on F1 interest rather than paying the greedy gits.

I remember paying £25 a month for everything available (no porn) from Mr Murgreedytwat,

and when Bernie had his go at selling a premium F1 channel I thought fook that its too expensive,
sure enough Bernie struggled to get subscribers and I got a bargain season ticket for £50, what a good service it was as well, 8 channels in one

Now the BBC have it its the best coverage I have ever seen, if it goes to Murdoch I'll swing my dish round until I find another feed rather than pay the aussie twat
