Hi Brandan,

thx for getting back. Most likely all receivers from far east don't pay the license for OpenTV so they will only show Now&Next.

Most European Stations (I am after the German ones) will be fully DVB compliant and show 7 Day EPG (at least that is my hope)

I may buy one

couple of quick things to add PT 1

Make sure you dont buy a clone - as in most cases when software if uploaded/flashed the box dies! From personal experience I have got mine from maxsat . co . uk

second thing is the channel editor is CRAP - i maybe just saying that becuase I have always been used to my once beloved Dbox channel editor. If you are only going to use the box for sly uk tv then use the link i posted and flash/upload as it has all the channels sorted in it.

or if you are going to get an openbox s10 (pretty cheap at the moment) I can obtain the firmware with the sly uk channels already in for u to use.

the link for the openbox s9 i have posted DOES NOT HAVE THE CHANNELS CAUSE the reboot issue

and the firmware i can obtain for you if needed for the openbox s10 also does not cause the reboot issue.

Hi,

I am more interested in 19.2 and the German Channels on Astra.

I shall have a look and maybe buy from the address you recommended.

Is the USB Recording working OK?

I seen the Dream 800 as well but the seem only to have a DVI out rather than HDMI.

the dm800 only has dvi but I think the dm800se has HDMI and overall is a better box

I just need a cheap replacement Box for my Parents ...

~70£ doesn't sound to bad and the easier and simple the better for them

HD would be nice to have and her own 500 just died so I am not sure how confident she is in getting another one ...

I may just try the Openbox and see what it is

800se is 158euro clone got to be better than open box, plus you might get chance to have a play with it and persuade your tuxbox mates to port neutrino for it

Love to know where you seen it for 158 euro renny I just paid 180 for one : (, great box though but haven't really had time to play with it properly yet.
