Default MW2 - hype

I've got MW2 on PS3 and I have to say that I'm a little disappointed with it. I completed the single player campaign on veteran in 8 hours. I played W@W before then and it took me weeks to complete on veteran. Obviously the multiplayer is what this title is all about but I have to say that for the RRP (£55) even the multiplayer is a little less than I was expecting... Anybody else feel like this?
I'm well looking forward to Alien v. Predator though!!!

Too many campers as well, multiplayer maps are poorly designed.

too many kids who've spent too long on this game, running round with knives and pistols, multiplayer is cac, no proper co-op like W@W, no private matches that gain you points, wish I never bought this junk

Hi guys,

Whilst we are each entitled to our own opinions, i must say i too have completed the campaign on regular & veteran and also the special ops section both on regular & vet, but as for the multi-player, well this would be the part about opinions differing, only due to the fact i have played mw2 since day 1, and unlike a lot of the players you guys mentioned i DONT camp out on every map, neither do i do the (what i refer to as) run, jump, duck, slide manouver which i think is along the same lines as your mention of the knifing thing, but i still enjoy a game of c.o.d cos with me its about fulfilling the challenges
