I would really like to thank talktalk aka opal telecom eventhough the internet does become destabilised every now and then..we pay for 8meg but we only ever use to get 6 1/2 but recently on the official talktalk forum we requested to be moved onto fastpath..now we get 9 1/2mb d/l..850kb u/l and a ping of 54ms..
Now thats worth what we pay for.. |

hi royal kid, i am currently using vermin and im thinking of moving to talktalk.
my mum has just moved over to talktalk, "unlimited internet", anytime calls for £22 p/month now, im sure there are better deals to be had out there, cheaper, as someone knocked on the door and got her to change, im guessing going direct will be cheaper? could you assist with what your getting and what price? oh and just to add, when the chap come to the door there was a £70 charge to move over onto a BT Line, but my mum phoned up and had the fee "wavered" so the charge was scrapped..

remember the unlimited packages can have a 'fair use' policy applied which in some cases can be as low as 40GB per month. i hit 170gb last month on 10mb VM and i don't consider myself a big downloader
