Default VM Broadband size L (10mb)

If anyone has this as part of your subbed package, including the phone rental of £11 a month, then follow my example and phone 150 - Thinking of Leaving Virgin and negotiate them down in price.

Size L 10mb should now be costing you £14 a month maximum, not the 'anything up to' £25 a month you're paying at present. So my Phone size M, TV size M (free) and Broadband size L are now fixed at £25 per month, payed via DD and on e-Billing.

(By comparison, just two years ago- I was on phone, analogue base TV and 1mb broadband @ £38-50 a month!!)

If they claim not to know what you're talking about- the facts are stated here on their own website:

http://allyours.virginmedia.com/webs...ct.do?id=15157

They've also worked a crafty move on e-Billing! Before, we saved £1 a month by opting for this. From 1st May- they will start charging £1-25 a month for paper bills. So, if you haven't registered for e-Billing yet, now is the time to do it!!

Cheers- AL

Edit: Only downside involved is that they'll want to bind you to a new 12 month contract. Shouldn't be a problem for most of us- certainly wasn't for me.

I'd be interested in hearing back on what sort of ££savings you managed to wheedle out 'em.

Just got off the fone with virmin. I managed to get pretty much the same as you Al. £28.45 per month (I have evening and weekend package on fone). Was paying £34.95.

So it shows.... Ask and ye shall receive

is always worth giving them a call, I have done it twice and both times got a good reason to remain with them
