My German is of course poor but the idea sounds interesting.
Is this using the stick to provide voice calls or is it just a data connection? Not too sure I would want to tie up a contract mobile sim to Asterisk for free calls though. Could be used for backup if the internet/voip connection went down, but again I would prefer to have my mobile for that. I think I would rather 'tether' the usb and just use that as a data interface which could allow simultaneous calls (with lag). Thanks PT |

Hi,
if you use Goolge Chrome as a Browser the Site can be automatically translated ;-) This working Solution uses the USB GSM Stick for incoming & outgoing Audio calls. The most used adapter is usually locked down for Data only but a bit of Linux tweaking removes this hinderance and you can fully use it for Voice. Text Messages are also possible ;-) Nice to use if you have an Remote site somewhere without any Land line access |
