what is the best way to chip a wii? - Page 3

my uncle has a wii which was modded and he had loads of games.. however - the lazer broke!

so he linked up an external hard drive (500GB) and he runs games from that now!

Does anyone have any information on how to do this? (Hes a tight arse, wont share knowledge or help me!) - its only for the missus, saves me burning games off!

homebrew is a channel that u can put on ur wii to allow u to softmod ur wii to play copied games

once you install homebrew channel using hackmii installer u need to install TRUCHA BUG though home brew channel then install wad files using wad manager all u want is cIOS's 202,222,223,224,249,250, and IOS70-64-6687 and uloaderV4.9A

Homebrew and USB Loader GX is great, (or CFG USB Loader if you wish) makes game Playing so much easier. No more arseing about changing discs around. Best thing I done, we actually Play the thing again now.

And it's so easy to use, even my 5y/o can oPerate it and Play his games without any hassle.

There are literally tons of guides out there for softmodding, just Google or Youtube it.
