No longer plays backups

My console has stopped playing backup games, comes up with an error about data being corrupt, after a reboot and inserting the origianl disk its all fine, Its one of the first consoles released, and it has an updated chip to enable the SMG to work, but never has lol

It sounds like a Wiikey updated to 1.9s - if it's always doing this then you may have a loose wire! way back I switched from Nero to Imgburn (free) and haven't had a bad burn since.
If all else fails there is a softmod out now thats getting good reviews.

try downgrading back to the version of wiikey you was using before you encountered the problems, hence if its not broke dont fix it..

could be alot of things chips arnt 100 percent stable too

Mine is still going strong but if it does go then I am stuffed as is not updatable.
