My name is Liam, but you all already knew that.

I realize that my return has had mixed reactions throughout the DBOX community so I thought I would write a little piece here to introduce myself and what I intend to do now that I'm back.

In short, I have decided that I will use UKCVS.org as my sole forum for all the work I do. I may casually browse other forums for information etc and give the odd reply here and there, but UKCVS seems to be the place to be; and I will make it my primary site.

This time round I have vowed not to start something, then stop half way through, ignore it, etc. For that reason I will be looking into how feasible a project is before commiting myself to anything.

The main points that I wanted to make in this post are:

1. I have a full time job, 8am - 6pm, maintaining corporate networks in London and Birmingham. Although my job involves IT i will rarely be able to browse this site, reply to posts etc even during my lunch break (although I'd like to!)

2. When I get home I am being made to spend some 'quality time' with the other half. We're not married, I'm just a mug. That means that I probably wont get any time to myself until 9:30(ish). It will be after 9:30 that I will be on here, or developing code etc.

Although my development time is now alot more limited compared to what I had before (there was a period for the Oxygen image where I didnt sleep or move from the computer for 3 days/nights solid - literally!), I intend to dedicate a significant portion of my spare time to the dbox project. And tbh its for one reason - I love it. Theres a certain addiction that you just cant break.

I therefore ask people to be patient with me, but to also have faith that I will finish projects on-time and with a decent quality. All my work will be open source and available in both source and diff format where possible.

And that is my plan of action basically.

OH ALSO: I think my time has gone to help out those new to the dbox2, and I wish to dedicate the majority of my time to pure development.
