Hmmm well ive overcome the 1st hurdle... plugging it in !!!

LCD says "powered by UKCVS.ORG"
loading kernel.
& thats it ! nothing else ! remote maybe broken?? no buttons work

Im sure the answer is in here somewhere......

Hmm, how about buttons on the front of the box?

Anyway, have a look through the forums, if still problems then post in the dbox2 area and I'm sure you will get help.

At least you have a decent image on it, LOL! Commando 10... Stuck on 'Loading Kernel' can often be a frightener, so don't be too worried about it, yet!

Unplug at the mains, leave it 5 mins- then try again. If the problem persists, then it's most likely to be a corrupted image flash. This will require a reflash, so get back to us if this is the case. But start a new thread in the dBox2 section, not in here pls.

one beer down and feeling better about buying a 2nd hand dbox

The front panel buttons also do nothing.
I have a tv image of "Team Commando 10" connected via scart.
can these boxes be hard reset ?
